La France en retard
La Silicon Valley est en avance dans le domaine de la Santé 2.0 (depuis quelques années déjà existent des conférence Health 2.0 là bas).
En France, l'écosystème est naissant. Notre culture comporte en effet des freins institutionnels et culturels. Notre société est davantage complexée par des problématiques de déontologie (on se souvient du site www.note2bib.comqui avait fait scandale). La perte de contrôle de facto de ce domaine par les institutions médicales constitue une crainte souvent partagée dans le milieu des praticiens.
La culture anglo-saxonne favorise l'innovation, quitte à reculer plus tard devant les problèmes posés par cette innovation. Au contraire, la culture latine est davantage dans une posture où il faut demander l'autorisation avant de faire quelque chose de nouveau. La règle a donc davantage de poids.
A quand le déclic ?
De plus en plus de conditions favorable sont en train de se mettre en place.
Tout d'abord de plus en plus de maladies chroniques nécessitent des dispositifs adaptés dans lequel le patient est actif de sa maladie.
D'autre part , les acteurs du secteur ont compris les évolutions en cours. La prise conscience est donc bien réelle.
Le modèle open-source dans la santé 2.0 ?
Sanoia.com propose aux patients de se constituer une fiche de santé internationale afin de mieux gérer l'urgence médicale. Pour être rentable, SANOIA a développé un modèle similaire sur différents points aux modèles open-source:
Le service est gratuit pour le patient, et devient ainsi prescripteur auprès de son médecin traitant (stratégie de communication "virale" ;) ).
Le service est facturé uniquement aux institutions qui utilisent le service pour améliorer les services de santé publique.
La modèle économique derrière est donc le modèle freemium assez répandu sur internet.
mesvaccins.net, qui propose un système de recommandations personnalisées de vaccinations a un modèle assimilable puisque le service est gratuit pour les patients, et sera prochainement financé par l'intégration du système auprès des institutions.
La problématique des données privées
Cette problématique est très importante car elle touche tous les acteurs de l'écosystème.
Pour éviter tout conflit d'intérêt, mesvaccins.net a décidé de ne pas recourir ni à la publicité ni au sponsoring.
De son côté, Sanoia a travaillé avec Alex Türk de la CNIL pour construire un projet respectueux des droits des utilisateurs concernant leurs données de santé.
