Le serious gaming ? C'est l'actualité brûlante du moment avec l'appel à projets dédiés au serious gaming et au Web 2.0 lancé, le 6 mai dernier, par Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, secrétaire d’Etat chargée de la Prospective et du développement de l’économie numérique.
Dotés respectivement de 10 et de 20 millions d’euros, les appels à projets Web 2.0 et serious gaming concentreront les investissements dans la R&D et l’innovation.
La date limite de dépôt des candidatures est fixée au 6 juillet 2009.
Rapidement, sur ce plateau, cet appel préempte les discussions des intervenants. Un projet vivement débattu et qui est très loin de faire l'unanimité.
A ne pas manquer, l'échange à bâtons rompus entre Gilbert Reveillon et Fabrice en total désaccord sur ce projet de la ministre. Chacun avance ses arguments avec conviction.
Particulièrement intéressant le retour d'expérience de Marie-Pierre Fleury porteuse d'un projet non éligible alors qu'il s'inscrit dans cette logique. A ce propos, si vous êtes aussi créateur d'une jeune entreprise, que vous avez été un candidat malheureux, racontez votre expérience. Les candidats retenus sont plus que les bienvenus également ! Et ainsi prolonger le débat.
Les stratégies numériques des autorités publiques sont-elles pertinentes ? Autre sujet âprement abordé. Se résument-elles à un mariage impossible ''d'un hipppotamme et d'un papillon'' comme l'affirme non sans provocation Fabrice Epelboin ?
Si vous êtes dans ce domaine, porteur de projet, c'est la vidéo à voir pour comprendre les enjeux, les dessous de cet appel.

Comment from Patricia Gallot-Lavallée: L'appel à projets de NKM à propos du Serious gaming suscite en effet énormement d'intérêt au sein de la communauté de créateurs d'applications numériques. - Serious Gaming signifie-t-il forcément univers 3D ? - Un spécialiste de la robotique aurait reçu 15 demandes de partenariat. - Tous les studios de jeux vidéo que je connais ont refusé de participer et restent concentrés sur leurs projets. - La formulation de l'appel d'offres et les délais sont sérieusement controversés. - De nombreuses équipes semblent abandonner. A quelques jours de la remise des dossiers, je vous propose de parler exemples et commérages autour de l'appel d'offres Serious Gaming et Web 2 de NKM.
Comment from Alexandre Lachaut: Deux des points clefs évoqués dans la vidéo qui, à mon avis expliqueront l'échec de cet appel à projet :- le délai relativement court pour préparer ce dossier de manière sérieuse (surtout juste avant les vacances où les projets en cours sont à terminer et où souvent certains membres d'une entreprise sont déjà en vacances)- l'obligation de s'allier avec un partenaire...et si possible public. Or chercher un gros partenaire privé demande du temps et de lutter contre une force d'inertie inhérente aux grosses entités. Et s'allier avec un organisme public demande en plus de faire s'allier l'éléphant et le papillon (j'aime bien cette expression)...ce qui n'est pas une mince affaire.Malgré tout je pense que c'est une bonne initiative. Peut-être un teasing pour une initiative de plus grande envergure dans le futur ?
